  • Government-issued identity documents (such as Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID)
  • Selfie/photo verification for identity matching

2.4 Location Information

With your permission, we collect:

  • Real-time device location (for safety features, SOS, and location-based matching)
  • City/region preferences for trip discovery
  • Travel destination and itinerary location data

2.5 Device Information

We automatically collect: device type, model and OS, unique device identifiers, IP address, app version, mobile network information, and crash/diagnostic data.

2.6 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website and app may use cookies, SDKs, and similar tracking technologies to maintain login sessions, understand usage patterns, personalize content, and measure marketing effectiveness. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

  • To operate Women-Only Mode and related safety features

  • Sensitive personal data, including KYC documents, is stored using encryption both in transit and at rest.

Troova may integrate with third-party service providers including identity verification / KYC providers, cloud hosting providers, payment gateways, analytics tools, communication service providers, and maps/location services. These third parties are contractually obligated to protect your information. Troova does not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by using the in-app account deletion option or by submitting a request to troova.in@gmail.com.

Upon verified request, we will delete or anonymize your personal data, except where retention is required for legal/regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

9. Children's Privacy

Troova is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at troova.in@gmail.com.
