These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Troova ("Troova," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Troova website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform" or "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using Troova, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

To use Troova, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age. Troova is strictly for adult users.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• Not be barred from using the Platform under any applicable law.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and verification.

Troova reserves the right to refuse registration, suspend, or terminate accounts of users who do not meet these eligibility criteria.

3.1 Account Registration

To access core features of Troova, you must create an account by providing accurate personal information, including your name, email address, phone number, and other required details.

3.2 Verification Requirements (KYC)

To maintain a safe and trustworthy community, Troova requires users to complete a verification process, which may include:

• Submission of a valid government-issued identification document
• Selfie or photo verification for identity matching
• Phone number and/or email verification

Access to certain features may be restricted until verification is successfully completed. Troova reserves the right to deny, suspend, or revoke access for users who fail or refuse verification.

3.3 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, all activities that occur under your account, and promptly notifying Troova of any unauthorized access.

By using Troova, you agree to:

• Provide truthful, accurate, and up-to-date information in your profile
• Use the Platform only for its intended purpose — discovering and connecting with travel companions
• Treat other users with respect, honesty, and courtesy
• Comply with all applicable laws while using the Platform and during any trips
• Exercise personal judgment, caution, and due diligence when meeting or traveling with other users

Troova is built on trust, respect, and safety. All users are expected to:

• Use real, recent, and accurate photographs in their profiles
• Communicate respectfully and avoid harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior
• Respect the privacy and boundaries of other users
• Report any suspicious, inappropriate, or unsafe behavior through the in-app reporting tools
• Adhere to the specific guidelines of Women-Only Mode, including not misrepresenting gender to gain access

Violation of community guidelines may result in warnings, feature restrictions, account suspension, or permanent termination.

Users shall not, under any circumstances:

• Misrepresent their identity, age, gender, or any profile information
• Create multiple or fake accounts, or accounts on behalf of another person without authorization
• Use the Platform for any commercial, promotional, or solicitation purposes without prior written consent from Troova
• Harass, stalk, threaten, defraud, or exploit other users
• Share another user's personal information without consent
• Upload content that is obscene, defamatory, infringing, unlawful, or violates the rights of any third party
• Use bots, scripts, or automated means to access or interact with the Platform
• Attempt to bypass verification, security measures, or moderation systems
• Engage in any activity that is illegal under applicable Indian law
• Use the Platform to arrange or facilitate any illegal activity, including human trafficking, prostitution, or any exploitation of minors

Violation of this Section may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement authorities where appropriate.

Troova provides tools and features designed to enhance user safety, including verified profiles, SOS features, and Women-Only Mode. However:

• Troova does not guarantee the identity, intentions, behavior, or conduct of any user, regardless of verification status.
• Verification reduces but does not eliminate risk. Users are strongly encouraged to exercise caution, meet in safe public places, and inform trusted contacts of their plans.
• Troova is not responsible for any interactions, meetings, trips, or relationships that occur as a result of connections made through the Platform.
• SOS features are provided as a safety aid and do not constitute a guarantee of emergency response or law enforcement intervention. Users should always contact local emergency services directly in case of emergency.

Troova is a technology platform that facilitates connections between users based on stated preferences, interests, and compatibility indicators. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Troova does not guarantee compatibility, friendship, or successful travel partnerships resulting from any match.
• Troova is not a travel agency (except where explicitly offering its own organized trips) and does not control or take responsibility for trips planned between matched users.
• Any trip, meeting, transaction, or arrangement made between users is solely between those users, at their own risk and discretion.
• Troova shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, dispute, financial loss, or harm arising from interactions or trips arranged through matches made on the Platform.

9.1 Content Ownership: You retain ownership of the content you post on Troova, including profile information, photos, messages, and trip details.

9.2 License to Troova: By posting User Content, you grant Troova a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content for the purposes of operating, promoting, and improving the Platform.

9.3 Content Standards: You represent that your User Content does not infringe upon any third-party rights, does not contain unlawful or harmful material, and is accurate and not misleading. Troova reserves the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms, without prior notice.

All intellectual property rights in the Troova Platform, including the Troova name, logo, trademarks, software, design, graphics, and content created by Troova, are owned by Troova and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

Troova may, at its discretion, introduce subscription plans and premium membership tiers. Subscriptions may be set to auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. Troova reserves the right to modify subscription features, pricing, and availability at any time with reasonable notice.

• All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.
• Users are responsible for ensuring that payment information provided is accurate and authorized.
• All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.
• Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

By User: You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting troova.in@gmail.com.

By Troova: Troova reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, provide false or fraudulent information, pose a safety risk to other users, or if required by law.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to access and use the Platform will immediately cease. Certain provisions (including limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution) shall survive termination.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law:

• Troova provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind.
• Troova shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• Troova's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Troova in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or INR 5,000, whichever is lower.
• Troova is not liable for the conduct of any user, whether online or during in-person meetings or trips arranged via the Platform.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Troova, its founders, directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to your use or misuse of the Platform, your violation of these Terms or any applicable law, your interactions or trips with other users, any content you post or share on the Platform, or your violation of any third-party rights.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17.1 Good Faith Resolution: In the event of any dispute, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith negotiation by contacting troova.in@gmail.com.

17.2 Arbitration: If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days of notice, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, conducted by a sole arbitrator. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Delhi, India, and the language of arbitration shall be English.

17.3 Jurisdiction: Subject to the arbitration clause above, the courts at Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matters not subject to arbitration.

Troova reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website, or via email/notification, along with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
